Crafts and Hats

On Tuesday Emma, mom and I attended a knitting class. It was mostly for Emma and I but mom also picked up some needles and tried. Emma was REALLY into it and has been knitting ever since.
Here you can see the little worker at work.

The almost finished product

I have picked up a new possible hobby. Making quilts! One of our neighbors has offered to teach me how to quilt. I had my first lesson last Monday. I am making a doll quilt and have found it to be a LOT of fun. I am learning to machine quilt so now I know how to sew on a sewing machine.

Here it is. ( It isn't finished yet)

One last thing, we are going to my friend's VBS ( vacation bible school). Last night was wacky hat day. We had to wear our wackiest hats we had.

Here is my creation.

It consists of the following:

1. A long blue hat from last VBS

2. My Tinker Belle Mickey ears

3. An Orlando Magic baseball cap

4. A yellow lei

5. That alligator thing was my craft that we made

During the begining talk a man took me and two other people onto the stage and said that we had the wackiest hats! We also got one dollar each.

Whew, that was one crafty wacky adventure 'yall. See ya next time!

Harvest Time!

Today mom and I went to check on the garden and guess what we found? Three strawberries, a roma tomato, and a banana pepper! See them?
The hydrangea flowers are from my bush. Emma also has her bush which is blooming.
Here is a picture of the produce fresh from the field.

Another good pic of the hydrangea.

Well was that an exciting adventure or what? See ya next time!

Home Sweet.....Dwarf House?

Yesterday my mom, sis and I went to BreadBeckers- that is where my mom gets wheat to make her whole wheat bread. On our way there we stopped to look at my mom and dad's first house.

Pretty isn't it?

(When they planted that Bradford Pear tree, it was little. Look how big it is now.)
Also, on our way back home, we had lunch at a Dwarf House Chick-fil-a. For those of you who don't know what a Dwarf House is (don't worry I didn't know either:) that is one of the first Chick-fil-a's. It also had sit-down service, too. One last cute addition was the little dwarf-door on the front (for the party poopers there was a normal door as well;).

Well that was another fun adventure with Abigail. See ya next time!

My First Post!

I am really excited as I'm typing this post. I have been wanting a blog for a long time and have sometimes posted on my mom's blog.

Recently we ( my mom, sister and I) went to North Carolina to see my aunt's new baby. She also has a almost two year old. It was lot's of fun. We surprised my aunt with a surprise baby shower for Celeste! We also enjoyed my aunt and uncle's Wii. Here is my sister Emma having a lot of fun.

Here I am with the new baby, baby Celeste.

We also had fun going to Peppermint Park and at home in Chloe's kiddie pool.

Well we had a fun time. One last thing, look at this supercute pic of Chloe!
